drawing "Kairos" 2016 black pen on paper 84.1 x 59.4 cm In 2016 I bought myself a didgeridoo, named "Kairos", a high-end musical instrument which was made by a professional player. It is a true work of art both in terms of production, the beauty of the instrument and the sound it produces. This drawing tells of my encounter with this instrument. When I play it, I feel accompanied by many spirits blowing and participating in the rhythms and melodies produced. The great profusion of details transcribes the harmonic range of the instrument, the finesse and precision as well as the richness of its musicality. I also tried to put its essence and musicality on paper using my outlines. The study of the line pays homage to the precision work that such an instrument must have required to be produced.
