The absence of rites of passage in the West (the transition from adolescence to adulthood) leads our teenagers to a form of wild initiation, either through drug use, video games, or social media. The result: adolescence crisis, loss of meaning, frequent anxieties, and disconnection from their bodies and emotions. In this series, Teddy invites us into his own wild and violent self-initiation through the use of multiple drugs, feeling lost in search of confrontation with internal and external limits. He immerses us in his intimacy with incisive pieces, capturing the raw moment, a form of self-therapy through art.
